Today (May 19th, 2010) the leaders of the anti-government protests that have paralysed the heart of Bangkok for weeks have surrendered, after troops stormed their barricades. You can read the updates from bbc here. Nonetheless, there were 12 points of fires around Bangkok this afternoon after the demonstration has been officially finished. The government has announced a curfew for tonight starting from 20.00hrs till 06.00hrs tomorrow. We are advised to stay in and alert tonight.
