It seems to cool down...

Responding to the Red’s request, Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva is expected to dissolve the parliament in the second half of September to pave the way for a general election, which would fit in with PM’s plan to hold a new election on Nov 14 and meet the requirements of the constitution.
However, the red shirts yesterday said they would continue their protest in the Rajprasong business area until they obtained all the details of Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva's road map for national reconciliation, in particular a firm date for a dissolution of the House.
The situation now seems to be calmer. The BTS sky train operates normally today from 06.00-00.00hrs in spite of the shortened hours (06.00-20.00hrs) during the past week.
