Internship Market Research
Mar 10, 2009
The Neso in Mexico City is looking for a motivated student that can help conduct a research on the possibilities for promotion and institutional cooperation in the northern regions of Mexico for a period of 3 – 4 months starting in September 2008.
Currently the office has most of its activities in the central region around Mexico City. The northern region surrounding the city of Monterrey is an area with a large population, many industries and universities of a good quality. Neso wants to know whether it is interesting and/or important to have more presence in this region as well.
Neso is looking for a student about to finish his or her Master’s degree that wants to conduct this research for their final thesis. It will be partly desk research at the Neso office in Mexico City, and partly field research visiting institutions, conducting interviews and participating in education fairs in Monterrey. A good command of Spanish is required for this project. Preference is given to students doing their Master’s studies in Latin American studies, Spanish language, (applied) education sciences or marketing (with some experience in market research).
The student will receive training and guidance by the Neso staff. Neso will pay for the return ticket Holland – Mexico and the costs of the visa, and help finding a suitable place to live.
For more information please revise the Internship Summary (in Dutch) and/or contact Ms. Maureen van der Meché, director of Neso Mexico.
