On 6 March 2009 Nuffic officially opened its 10th Netherlands Education Support Office (Neso) in Bangkok.

Approximately 300 Thai students are studying in the Netherlands; the number of Dutch students in Thailand is still to be investigated. There are many areas for both Thai and Dutch students to explore in the higher education field.
