Vacancy: Internship EAHEP Bangkok

Nuffic is offering a position for a 2009 EAHEP Bangkok intern to assist Nuffic staff in The Hague in organizing the above events in Bangkok. The internship period is to be at least four months, ending in November 2009.

The intern will be involved in activities ranging from preparations through to the final reporting stage of the EAHEP project, and will work with the Study in Holland Team and the Nuffic office in Bangkok. There is a possibility that the intern will be able to attend the events in Bangkok.

Essential skills / background

  • Must be a student in the final phase of higher education.
  • Excellent proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • International experience (work and/or study).
  • Experience in event organization.
  • Sense of initiative and hands-on approach.
  • Team spirit.
  • Good diplomatic and intercultural skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting Nuffic staff in logistical arrangements and communication activities to ensure successful implementation of the EHEF and symposium in Bangkok.
  • Liaising with European higher education institutions, the Nuffic office and organizations in Bangkok.
  • Carrying out any other duties deemed necessary for a smooth-running organization and implementation of the EHEF.
