31 Aug 2010
On the 21st – 22nd of August 2010, Nuffic Neso Thailand in collaboration with the Netherlands Alumni Association Thailand (NAAT) organized an alumni cycling trip to Khao Yai. In total 24 participants joint the trip, including the president of the Netherlands Alumni Association Thailand (NAAT).The main purpose of this activity was to create a closer relationship between Nuffic Neso Thailand and NAAT members.
During the trip a brainstorm session took place to discuss issues of common interests and how to further improve the association. Number of new and existing members of the alumni association was in balance and everyone enjoyed a wonderful time together. The participating alumni have graduated from different institutions such as: Wageningen University, Erasmus University, Rotterdam School of Management, IHS, Radio Nederland Training Center (RNTC), TU Delft, Leiden University, Institute of Social Studies (ISS), and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
On the first day of our trip, we arrived in the Kong Garden resort at 11.30 hrs. Over lunch time we opened the floor to everyone to introduce themselves and shared their study in Holland experiences among each other. The programme continued with a cycling tour to and through the vineyards, followed by a nice dinner back at the resort.
On the second day, a brainstorming session took place between the alumni as mentioned before. After the session, the team was divided into two groups, group 1 went to visit the waterfalls (Haew Suwat) and group 2 went to Palio (Tuscany village). Many nice pictures have been made. After the activities the trip ended with a nice lunch at Khrua Khao Yai restaurant.
