The early pre-departure Briefings

On Thursday 18 February 2010, Nuffic Neso Thailand hosted a small pre-departure briefings for 5 students who are going to study in the Netherlands. They are granted the NFP (Netherlands Fellowship Programme) scholarships to study short courses and PhD at different Dutch universities. The 5 successful students are;

Short course on "Completing claims on natural resources - professional qualifies for managing conflict in NRM towards sustainable development" at Wageningen International

Ms. Silatham Sermrittirong

PhD study in the field of research in Health Social Sciences on ""Stigma and Stigma interventions related to Leprosy and Tuberculosis in Thailand" at Vrije University Amsterdam

Ms. Songkarn Tanon

Short course on '"Participatory planning, monitoring and evaluation - navigating and managing for impact" at Wageningen International

Mr. Itsaranuwat Yongpisanphop

Short course on "Dental Education and Public & Oral Health" at Radboud University Nijmegen

Ms. Katerachada Klankrong

Waste Water Management at UNESCO-IHE

 

During the pre-departure session Nuffic Neso representatives give information necessary before leaving Thailand to the Netherlands. It includes preparing the students to the class method, Dutch cultures and society, and also other practical information useful for living in the Netherlands.

Nuffic Neso Thailand will organize such pre-departure briefings again for more students going to the Netherlands later in the year around end of July. More information will be available soon.
