Your Dutch diploma

Mar 19, 2010

Once you finish your studies in Holland and have received a Dutch diploma, Nuffic can provide more information on how to obtain a description of your Dutch diploma. Nuffic assists students by providing advice or written statements, such as the ‘Diploma Description’. A Diploma Description describes a Dutch diploma and compares it to a diploma in the country where it will be used. Diploma Descriptions are issued to the person named on the diploma and cost 75 Euros.

In the event that you wish to practice a regulated profession in another EU country, Nuffic can provide you with a short declaration on the professional rights granted by the diploma, called an NCP Declaration. This declaration can help you in the process of registering for the profession in question in the country in which you wish to practice. NCP Declarations are provided free of charge. Please note that both statements (Diploma Descriptionand NCP Declaration) are recommendations only and, as such, do not give the holder any rights in the host country.
